Andrew Bridger (Andy) is an economist who is passionate about applying and communicating economic principles to create better outcomes for all. Andy has 8 years professional experience in economic policy, data and research. He currently works for the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the United Kingdom, where he holds a Senior Associate Economist role.
Prior to joining the FCA, Andy worked for the Australian Industry Group (Australia’s peak national employer organisation), the Australian Department of Industry, Innovation and Science and for a private economic consulting firm in Brisbane. He holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Economics and Finance from the University of Queensland.
